i don't care what anyone says....yungstar was a fukking beast with the pen. i wish dude released more stuff. only problem i ever had w/ him was his accent was so heavy he was hard for me to understand at times. lyrically i haven't heard many in the south fukking with him.
he didnt have a accent nikka jus had a lazy ass tongue..also sip as much as yung did in his day..ya jawline will pull a hamstring..

out of the whole entire straight profit camp...wood n grace were the best with the pen n pad

yung was the best off the head..u would think he was writin...but he off the head one take jake it in a heartbeat...

i said before...out of all the freestylers...in the s.u.c yungstar was the only one to give fat pat hell..the one time he broke pat off..pat held a grudge up until he died..

they had a freestyle over master p's bout it bout it loop...flow was like 10 mins long..jus pat n yung goin back n forth...

it became a lil o song

pat verse came from the flow...yung hook came from it as ell..

yung said he could be in a stall in the mall takin a shyt...

pat would come in like mike d n keke nem..

loud than a bytch...aight heaaaaaaaaa go...look here look here look here

1st couple of mins is keke n pat goin back n forth..when pat start feelin it..6:59 look here look here look here look here

I miss these days bruh, I remember I was 16 at the Kappa Beach party when this song dropped. Every damn car out there was bumping this shyt.... It was beautiful

I'm talking way before hashtags.......
:banderas:

Yessir. I stayed going to the Kappa from 96-99. It was a soundtrack the whole weekend every year.

98 everyone was bumpin Wanna Be A Baller, Big Tymerz- How U Luv That Vol. 2 especially Big Ballin, and UGK-Bumper and Grill
99 was this and Jay Z and UGK-Big Pimpin (smartened up and got a room at the Victorian that year)

And forgetting a bunch of songs but those are the ones I remember the most. It was so beautiful back then:to:. When I first went in 96 it was so damn lovely. Boys were posted up on the seawall BBQin in the back of their truck and feeding everybody. Cool nikka from the North Side. No cops were fukking with us just pulling bad bytches and having a good time. Met chicks from all over the country. I remember I ran into Face down there too. He was at that Exxon gas station (right when you come up 63rd street on the left hand side across from the Casa Del Mar hotel) chillin by his Rolls Royce with Rap-A-Lot goons. Sorry for the tangent but the glory days of the Kappa were amazing.

I've been on a seeeeerrrioouusssss Houston kick the last couple months. Just downloading all the shyt I can find off Apple Music which is actually much better than I expected.

Always loved UGK and the classic songs like this but just been going back listening to lots of screw, z Ro, fat pat, slim thug, swisha house, lil Mario, lil keke, magno, etc.

I haven't enjoyed being into a music scene/style for a while. Something about it just :wow:

Thanks for all the links.
