:yeshrug: I ain't got no issue with Yvette.

I rather listen to her than most these kats on the internet. Just off the fact she speaks intelligently, explains herself with REAL FACTs and can deliver informative conversation without spending hours cracking jokes and calling black women and men bedwences, c00ns, uncle toms, bytches and N-words.

The speech was all about fake womanhood where she props up solidarity amongst women that doesn’t exist. The speech is proof that Oprah puts her gender above race.

Just listen to it again. She talked some shyt about how women are going to finally be believed and all that, which is a direct slap to every black person’s face. For centuries whites have justified their terrorism and mistreatment of blacks using white women lies. The Tulsa Oklahoma black Wall Street terrorist attack that people like to talk about was started on the strength of a white woman calling rape on a black man. White women have always gotten the benefit of the doubt being blindly believed when it came to accusing black men of sexual assault of any kind, and it’s always been a detriment to the black community as a whole. It wasn’t just detrimental to black men.

While white women have always gotten the benefit of the doubt, they’ve purposely denied black women the same. They don’t get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to white men(until now) but that’s not black people’s problem or concern. White women never stood in solidarity with black women accusing white men of sexual assault. In fact, even when black women were being taken advantage of and raped/molested on the plantation, white women would go to great lengths to punish the bed wenches even further out of jealousy.

So for Oprah to stand her mammy ass up and pledge solidarity with her oppressors, that’s the biggest c00n move ever. She just shytted on us all including our ancestors. How you think Emmet Till and his mother felt looking down on mammy Oprah giving that speech?

PREACH!!

It`s so many cases throughout history that can be cited, like the Scottsboro Boys.

We have gotten the short end of the stick throughout history with White women, but we are looked at as wrong if we question the METOO movement. SMH

I think thats why Dave Chappelle tells the Emit Till story in his last comedy special but nobody acknowledges or realizes what he was really saying.

I dont always agree with Yvette but I respect how she keeps it real with feminist on Black men and the Black community as a whole.

I can see why she was so fire. hearing about what those white men did to Recy Taylor and how white women are just much of a problem as their men are yet they all ways come out looking like harmless foxes.
Yeah man, hearing Recy be compared to some bytches who got the doors locked on them by Matt Lauer is fukking insulting. Don't bring up these people to get a pat on the back by liberal hollywood.

Yall going to learn one day about looking at entertainers to do anything more than entertain you. Lol

Yvette has had boots on the ground

Before embarking on a career in new media, she served as a Congressional aide, first to Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and later to former Congressman Marion Berry (D-AR).

In her time on the Hill, she also worked as Regional Field Director for America’s Families United (AFU), one of the largest non-profit Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaigns active during the 2004 election cycle.

In the broader Democratic Party, she served as assistant to the Director of the Women’s Vote Center at the Democratic National Committee (DNC). She has since distanced herself from the Democratic Party and considers herself an independent.
