So when you're (begging)demands of the government aren't met what are you going to do:lupe:

How does continuing to beg the government to change not make you a coward? You're paying taxes just like everybody else.

Uh...social progress takes generations, if we would've listened to Booker T. Washington and dumb conservative nikkas like you, Jim Crow will be alive and well today..

I ain't gonna stop now when the first slaves on this soil believed they were gonna be free one day. And the Black family that spawned from them believed they were gonna be able to give their kids a good education and not having their kids walk 10 miles to a Black school that is ran down. And the family that spawned from them believed that their children will be able to live where they want to live...

So like I said...yall just gonna be some hoes...and get fukked by a government that breed and enslaved your ancestors and kills you and maims you...and fund the government's violation of Black people...with your taxes without making any demands the government to serve you because I know yall nikkas ain't gonna go to jail for not paying your taxes...basically Uncle Sam made you his bytch and fukking you slowly...every night and telling you to go get his fukking money...and you gonna bring that shyt home every night like a hoe...and shut the fukk up...

So yall are ..basically being a race traitor. and an economic bed buck..:yeshrug:

And nikkas like me are gonna hold the government accountable...:yeshrug:

USA Blacks are the richest group of African people for a reason...we hold the government accountable for the most part unlike Afro Latinos...:yeshrug:

Continue to be on the wrong side of history brehs...:mjlol:

Some people use "not understanding" people like Boyce Watkins & Claude Anderson's points as a smokescreen to hide the fact that they've been terrified into submission to challenge the system. Debating is pointless, look beyond people statements and analyze their intent.

You said Black people don't save their money...which has been proven false by William Darrity, a Black economist that knows his shyt... we save just as well or even better than White people..

Dude, im referring to lower middle class families. Not the top earning 20% black families, which most of those studies put out there. :mjlol:.

Nielsen actually do good spending trend studies on black people as a whole. The "lower middle class" actually spend more than they take in.

So....how did Black people get into White schools...
So...how did Black people get an education and government jobs...
So...how was the military integrated...
So...how did Black people get free from slavery...
I'll wait...:yeshrug:

The first three instances pretty much happened at the tail end of the segregation period where black folks had more wealth than they do today (chart below). The key takeaway is that the similarity between Boyce's approach and the comparatively minimal wealth disparity between whites & blacks of the 60s was/is BLACK BUSINESS.

Today’s racial wealth gap is wider than in the 1960s

Slaves were freed due to the intersectionality of money and politics.
  • The South wanted to maintain slavery b/c it gave them free labor to acquire class and wealth. The 3/5 assignment for black people also gave them more political power, by way of increased population so they can increase their wealth through political influence.
  • The North wanted to erase slavery to extract wealth from the South and gain more political power by not counting slaves in the population metrics. Notice, that once slavery ended, most of the wealth transferred from the South to the North.
What Yvette/Antonio are missing is that wealth and politics are in an intimate marriage with each other. You cannot have one without the other. Wealth moves Politics and vice versa.

Can someone summarize succinctly, what the issue between Carnell and Watkins is?

Where did is start? Again, just encapsulate the important points please.

Thanks in advance.

He asked her to work for him to get his shyt jumping. 8 articles a day for 5yrs and at most he paid her $1200 per month and only got her 1 speaking engagement.

Boyce wasn't cutting the check. He made sure he could eat and screwed his employee....that's not good black business. nikka claims to be well off and is on vacations every other weak...but he ain't got a livable amount of dough for Yvette that wanted to push black media with him!?!? Come on!

This is a false equivalency without more information. Reason being, as a writer it doesn't matter how many articles you write. As a freelance writer, you are paid based on the articles that are published.

Futhermore, Yvette used Boyce's platform to make a bigger name for herself & branch out. That makes total sense. If the money isn't right, use the experience as a platform to increase your visibility and create your own opportunity from it. This seems beneficial to both sides to me.

Boyce is on this don't need the white man tip which is true and cool, yet he cries and appeals the decision when the white man owned facebook puts him in "jail"...

The only one I listen to is Neely Fuller at this point on a somewhat consistent basis because there's no drama.

Slaves were freed by the government...that's the point all that other shyt is irrevelant to my point... Black people did not build up an army and go kill some White folks and declare themselves free.

Northern White people raised the army (which is government), President Lincolin signed the Emancipation Proclamation (government), the Freedman Bureau was created and helped Black folks (government).

If none of that shyt happened, we would've still been slaves.

And Black people did not have more wealth back then. What that chart measures is the accumulation of capital and wealth by White people. Capital accumulates among those who hold it. White people hold 90 percent of the wealth in this country and how they got it was by the government. Slavery was the government, New Deal was the government, GI Bill was government, Homestead Act was the government.

Government created wealth for White people and negatively impacted Black people.

Yvette and Antonio understands wealth and politics very well. What Yvette and Antonio are saying is Black people are poor, Black people don't have capital, Black people cannot catch up to White people without the government since the government gave White people the advantage.

Black business is nothing without capital. You need capital to have a business...if White people have it all, where the fukk you gonna get it from?

Somebody tell me that...

Look at the numbers and tell me...

The top 5 percent of Black people are worth 350,000

The top 5 percent of White people are millionaires...

1 in 5 White college educated people have the chance of becoming a millionaire...

1 in 15 Black college educate poeople have that chance...

White people who have only a High School got more wealth than Black people with a college degree

96 percent of businesses fail...

What are yall even talking about
