That’s great. Now does that candidate exist? Because people even swear that Obama had anti-black policies.

We have the propensity of tearing every single black candidate to shreds and maybe for good reason. I don’t think there is a candidate that will appeal or be to the liking of all black people.

So what do we do?

Because a black candidates record is inconsequential inasmuch they have crossover appeal to garner the votes to secure the nomination. They can have a sterling record on polices for black people but seeing as that we’re only 13% of the population, if they don’t appeal to others outside of our community to get the votes needed, that record means nothing.

Which is exactly why our black candidates are “selected” because someone who is cut from the same cloth as a Tariq, may get 100% of the Coli’s approval, but will not get it from the black intelligentsia or others outside our community.

We need to be more strategic in that we put our black candidates in office but hold their feet to the fire and insure that they enact policies for our benefit or move forward in correcting a less-than-stellar blemish on their record. In other words, we need to get on code, and like white people, overlook some stuff to get our people in power and then do a better job in holding them accountable to us FIRST.

We have to work with what we got and all meet each other in the middle because as it stands, the black community has too many ideological differences to EVER agree on anything.

Im not saying Kamala is the candidate. I’m personally not for a woman to be president. But some of us are entirely too ideological and that is never going to get anything done.

If you are a democratic candidate and especially if you are a black candidate, and you haven't got reparations on the agenda for African Americans then you ain't getting my vote or other conscious minded black peoples votes. The reparations ship been sailed and will never happen. Tangible realistic solutions need to be offered.

Obama bailed out the banks while the poorest Americans (mostly black folks) lost 50% of their wealth. We lost jobs and weost homes, the only thing most had in terms of generational wealth

He failed us in our biggest time of need
