He made the right move. Alford gave his son all of the backup PG minutes while a NBA-lottery pick level talent just wasted away on the bench. No way am I competing with the coach's son for minutes while my draft status hangs in the balance.

Its like as soon as Lavine started making sportscenter and being mentioned as a lotto pick, Alford started jerking his role around.

Who's to say that Alford doesn't bench him again next year?

Sixers.......Get him........please....:wow:

Unless ya'll aquire an early 20s 1st rd pick leave this do be...Grab a guy like Gary Harris instead. All teams aren't good at developing young talents.

Daddy Ball system in full effect at UCLA, if you a guard there you already know one guard spot is locked up for the next 3 years so you're going to have to get in where you fit in at the other spots.

Thats why Lavine is leaving

I hooped with him at 24, he was obviously levels above everyone there.:beli:

But dude would really be much better off with 2-3 years unlike some of the other freshman.

But I can see why, if his pt is getting cut and his status may be bushes if he stays there.

He got no business coming out doe:yeshrug:. Gonna end up costing himself millions:snoop:

He got all the reason in the world to come out.

He a for sure first round pick, possibly lottery
Alford son is gonna be the PG the next 3 years,Lavine would just be wasting his time at UCLA,playing SG while Alfords son plays the position Lavine should be playing.
