Damn I just checked... Wiggins may just have the lowest PER in the for anyone who is averaging 20+ a game in the NBA.

Not only does he not have an all-round game but he's not even an elite or even good defender which is crazy because of his physical tools and athleticism.

It's also crazy to think when he came out he was billed as possibly a generational talent and now it seems he was picked over guys like Jabari and Julius who turned out to be more well-rounded players(who are both consistent jumpshots away from being legit good-great players moving forward).
I think theyll live with Wiggins over Randle breh

I like Lavine a little more right now because he can do more on the offensive end, but they need to trade one of them because they're both twos.

All this drip on me
Neither of them play defense either. The pass Bari gets on this site...
I agree homie in general but here's the thing even Jabari at least pretends too sometimes...this defensively useless ass nikka Wiggins averages 0.5 steals per game. Even lazy ass Jabari averages 1.2 every game.:dame:

Wiggins aint a 3 but they continue to play him there to fit in Lavine.

I thought Thibs would fix this, but he not. That team a mess.

Saying that, Wiggins needs to rebound better. Its gotten better the last month.

Brook Lopez had a top 5 PER of 28 when he was averaging 21 PPG and 5 boards...its a meaningless stand alone stat...

You could find many inconsistencies with it...

Well obviously, any advanced metric by itself is a stand alone stat...but combined with other stats and age trajectory data it's not meaningless. To even imply otherwise means you champion the often completely incorrect eye test or biased opinions based off reputation.

For example here's an article that dives deeper into Andrew Wiggins' one dimensional trajectory...

and here's a chart that shows it..

They've got dudes that can score but haven't figured out how to do it as a team just yet. In the 4th or whenever things get tight its my turn, your turn ball. Plus they haven't established a hierarchy yet AND they don't have any legit vets to lean on. All 3 are learning by fire without any type of safety net. That's why the knocks on these guys is tough because most young guys, even on bad teams are able to just focus on a few things. Hit shots and play position defense or set up the offense and get out the way. All 3 basically have every win and loss on their shoulders. There's literally no other reliable scoring option to take the burden off, there's no good wing defender to ease the defensive burden or a rim protector either. There's no vet that they can run the offense through in tight spots and they don't even have a 'dog' like a Taj Gibson to do the dirty work and provide toughness. Name a role that good teams have a guy filling and they don't have it. Wig/Towns/Lavine have to be everything. Where's the 3 and D guy? Where's the wiley vet guard? Where's the energy guy? They're figuring out how to drive stick while being the mechanic at the same time
