there are plenty of players all over the world working their ass off and would give anything to play minne or any nba city. i hate entitled athletes. this dude hasnt played one minute of pro ball and hasnt proven jack shyt. be thankful you have this opportunity no matter what city. i bet that dude isiah austin wouldnt have a problem with it.

(if he is indeed upset because he was drafted there)

He did't say "fukk me" he clearly said "fukk man". Enough of a difference to to be able to say it was relief (whether it was or not doesnt matter really)

Side note: I'm not a person who believes that a player should "just be grateful" because its a privilege. nikka if spent your entire child and adulthood to become one of the best in the nation of millions (if even for just one year) at anything after all the sacrifices youve made and what youve put your body through to achieve it, you sure as hell aren't going to feel like its a privilege when that time comes. Its what you feel you EARNED. This is my own experience and my family's as professional and collegiate athletes.

Negro please. There's only 28 cities in the NBA and odds are you're going to have to play for a shytty one. Very few get to play for a team in California or in the South. Somebody gotta play for those Midwestern teams.

I understand that breh. Thats not even the point I was remarking on nor implied. You're talking about cities and logistics which I never spoke on. Im speaking about a specific principle. I didn't feel it was a privilege to be offered a scholarship to play football, I earned it. I was better than most because of the amount of work that I alone put in to warrant it. My father almost lost his leg playing in the nfl and it wasn't a privilege to be able to sacrifice his body and the simple things in life all in order to hone a discipline at a high enough level to EARN a living in that discipline and provide for his family. Privilege is for those who did not EARN the benefits, not for the ones who have sown.

Plenty of nikkas earned the privilege to play in the NBA and they aren't there. You should appreciate being in the league no matter where you are until you're in a position to choose where you want to go.

How did they earn the privilege to play if they didn't? I do agree that there should be a certain level of appreciation but to say its a privilege, I'm not with that. Its just how you and I think that will keep us from seeing eye to eye. I see your point, I just don't agree with it.
