He was having a great game and they were doing nothing to decrease that lead except little runs that ended with Spurs regaining their lead. I can't guarantee 100% that Spurs hold onto win, but that's where the game was heading prior to the injury.
And I don't care what happened in the regular season, it has no meaning at all to what was happening in this game. Durant also starting playing a lot better after Kawhi's injury, again the situations and games are completely different.
