He's a bust. I said it day one. You never take no QB from BYU ever in the first round. Steve Young was the only QB that did well. We never seeing that again from that bum school.

Just rambled off random backups. You can say this about damn near every coach. His track record is him making every single organization , he's been involved with significantly better. Including elevating the quarterback play. Made Kerry Collins a super bowl quarterback, found Romo for Dallas, turned Brees from a 26td 12int - to 50tds 5000yds.
Those were his "projects", tho.
Sidenote: He definitely deserves credit for Brees and discovering Romo, and he also knew Mahomes was gonna be special.

Brees was solid and the injury scared teams away, but he wasn't thought of a long term franchise guy... and he became a first ballot HoF under Payton.
