Not only did they bench him, they deactivated him
that doesnt make a ton of sense. the Bears defense would have been a perfect opportunity for him to build some confidence
now you let White walk in and beat up a bad defense and win over the locker room and fans but say Zach is coming back as the QB down the line?

If his first drive woulda been a 3 and out or worse, fans woulda demanded his head on a platter. First incompletion, that crowd will get antsy. I'd even go so far as to say if this game was in Chicago, Zach plays.

Jets won in spite of Zach. Jets only had to put up 16 points. Thats why I mentioned Darnold putting numbers like 300 Yards passing 2 Touchdown type ish because Denver has the #1 Defense in the NFL
