1.)Clearly better and still being the worst starting QB in the league is meaningless. I don’t know how many times I have to slice this pie :mjlol:

2.)It should be noted that Mike Lafluer, who got thrown under the bus for not being able to produce with Zach Wilson is the OC for a top 15 offense this year. So he clearly wasn’t the problem, Zach just sucks

:heh:
Mike LaFluer was trash.

Even Chrebet and them knew it.

@Street Knowledge I need you to tear down my point. From a football perspective, tell me what am I seeing that’s wrong here. No way should be QB be fourth in the league in tight window throw Usage with a core this poor. A core with three undrafted rookie free agents and Garrett Wilson. Allen Lazard is just trash. As a team, they are the lowest in getting separation in the league. Why am I in the wrong in saying the tight window Usage shows it’s more a problem with scheme and an OC not freeing up these receivers using different concepts than it is Zach? I need that footbal answer.
I’m not the only one who thinks this. From a football perspective and adding those things up, I need to know where I’m wrong.

He should play. If Zach shows some life in these last few games, then he could possibly luck up and be a backup on a team w/ a great roster/good offensive coach next year(Browns; Rams, Ravens).

Being better than last year is still the worst day one starter in the league. He will not play well elsewhere, because he sucks. Maybe as a third string emergency QB

I remember when some Jets fans thought Sanchez would light it up elsewhere too :dead:
Just a few years ago all I heard was idiots saying Darnold would look so much better once he got away from the Jets and Gase. He goes to Carolina plays like shyt and will be a backup the rest of his career.

Same thing will happen with trash ass Wilson.

They always give these white boys the benefit of the doubt even when it's clear they're garbage.

He’s going to get a chance in the league anyway.

People know there’s a dysfunction with the Jets and will think he can benefit them.

Zach Wilson Hackett and the offensive line can all suck.

The same way Sam darnold, Adam Gase, and the jets 2020 offensive line all sucked.

Sam is still the same trash QB, just like Zach will be every where else he goes

Yeah it was a huge narrative how Sam would be great somewhere else and what do you know he still sucks.

Remember Josh Rosen? Still sucks. People just have a hard time admitting QBs suck :dead:

Nah. Darnold is a DUMB int machine. He has never in his career gone 5 straight games without an INT unlike Zach this season.

Zach had three interceptions with eight minutes left in the game versus the Cowboys going gunslinger. Beyond that, I only saw him get fooled by defenses very few times following that.

That’s a lazy narrative

Why aren’t you having the detail football discussion with me? I want to have that kind of conversation with you. If you know you have such a bad receiving core, why would you put your quarterback in a position to have the fourth highest usage rate in making tight window throws?

Tell me how IM wrong in saying that shows poor scheme. That is what Woodley is pointing out. That’s what I’ve been pointing out. Tell me what I’m doing wrong from a football perspective.

Are you capable of having a scheme discussion with me?

Yeah just like Sam Darnold got a chance, and he sucked again. Same thing with Josh Rosen, and 99% of busts in history.

So trash he’s the OC of a top 15 offense with washed Stafford. Hmmm

Hes not the play caller there. :russ:

Sean McVay still calls the plays. It’s being wrong like that we’re unqualified white boys keep getting jobs.

Nathaniel Hackett gets credit for being the OC at Green Bay when he was the “red zone gold” guy. He didn’t call shyt.
