here's my thing, so many people are saying that his kid should have the right and decision to be whatever gender. Okay, so 11/12 year olds can make these types of decisions but no one is cool with kids making decisions to to have sex underage? That's why you don't open Pandora's Box.
we supposed to trust a child's decision on what gender they want to be, but other shyt nah.
none of that shyt should be valid until the kid is an adult then they can do whatever the fukk they want.
I understand thinking a child should wait to make that decision, but that's not a reason to go calling a little kid disgusting and trying to clown the kid or throw jokes or shade

that's just hateful behavior and to direct that kinda energy at a kid is what is gross here
I can appreciate having an issue with the system, but there's more than that in this thread and it's sad to see

I also think there's a difference between this and having sex. In the case of accidental pregnancy you now have at least 3 involved parties(parents and child), whereas a sex change only impacts the one person who made that choice. Then you have to consider the scale of the issue. Every teenager has sexual urges, so that's a topic that impacts every person on this planet at some point in their lives. The population of people who would pursue a sex change at a young age is incredibly small, so the impact is probably overall harmless to society in the grand scheme of things.
You are correct though in that there is a slippery slope, I have my own reservations about letting a child make that decision
