The PR for the Ukrainians is the WOAT tbh It's like they go out of their way to make themselves seem as ungrateful as possible at times.

You should be on your knees grateful anyone is helping your ass out. This isn't the first time him and/or Ukrainian officials have said some out of pocket shyt as it relates to our support.

Tbh, we have been giving them weapons, not straight cash, and it's not without conditions. If Ukraine pushes the Russians out, our deals with them will make them pretty much a colony money wise for the foreseeable future. Many companies in the US are already talking about "investments" for them in the Ukraine after this is over. McDs and Starbucks are about to be on every street corner.

Though I don't blame folks thinking we are dropping straight cash because this administration has been dumb AF with messaging by only stating the packages in money amounts of what they are worth instead of emphasizing these are material goods, not money. So, of course people are going g to think we are just dropping off pallets of cash. It's tone deaf when belief in the government is at an all time low and money is lacking in problems here at home.

I’ll just repost another poster. I’m not wasting my time with morons like you today. Especially not cacs. I also like how you skipped over the rest of my initial post regarding the treatment of Black People in UKKKraine. Wouldn’t expect anything less from a demonic cac.
That’s a terrible analogy. Racism and neo Nazi are not synonymous terms. America has racist institutions but the amount of actual neo nazis is very small. Probably the same 2% as in Ukraine. The proper analogy would be KKK chapters signing up to fight for Obama’s military. Or volunteering on his campaign or something like that.

Maybe you need to clarify what you meant by Neo Nazi battalions in the first place? Apologies if someone else posted that.

And if we do?

Nah, we very well need to ask where this money is going and what the plans are for the older equipment being sent over.

Gameplan for the war? Why is this directed at America instead of the entire world? Haven't we done enough?

I think we have, and I'm not interested in kickbacks given to politicians and the military complex, that doesn't do anything for me or mine.

Ungrateful is not the word

People can spin this all they want but absolute truth is that amerikkka is funding a well-known nation of nazis, leaving its own people, especially black americans, doomed to their own fate :mjpls:

I wouldn't say it's a whole nation of Nazis but I don't really care about the Ukrainians as a people tbh. They have Nazi battalions on the Russian side as well and Russia is actively funding American Nazis and training them as well. I rather the Nazis that our Nazis are directly linked to lose just practically speaking. :yeshrug: we can disagree on this. But imo, for a litany of reasons I've mentioned in other threads, it's in ADOS interest that Russia is not successful. I don't want to spam repeating points I made in other threads here so I can share why I think this by sharing my other post, if you're interested.

In short though, ever thought about why our right wing folks here in the states, like the worst of the worst and most racist and hateful of them, seem to be pretty pro Russia in this war? They have a reason and it's not simply about being anti establishment. There is a lot of reading to do, to fully understand the scope of this whole situation.

trump’s return will be due to a combination of things converging in his favor.

america is a nation racked with anxiety over inflation, cost of living, shortage of affordable housing, bearish stocks, homelessness, rising crime, and other symptoms of a decaying society.

these are conditions that will convince the country to look for someone who will revive its national spirit, a figure who will stir within the people a spiritual renewal.

you underestimate just how defeated the average american feels right now.

US Military Aid To Ukraine Exceeds The Costs Of Afghanistan

Ukraine receives the most military aid from the United States: Since the beginning of the war and as of Jan. 15, 2023, $46.6 billion in financial aid for military purposes has flowed to the country now at war with Russia.

When calculating the average annual costs (in 2022 prices) of previous wars in which the United States has been involved in, the true magnitude of the country's Ukraine aid expenditure can be seen.

As Statista's Martin Armstrong shows in the infographic below, the payments to Ukraine have already exceeded the annual military expenditure of the U.S. in the war in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2010. The U.S. military costs in the Vietnam War, the Iraq War and the Korean War were significantly higher - according to calculations by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy as part of its Ukraine Support Tracker.
this isn't adjusted for shyt lol

This is separate from how people feel, but realistically, you will get war eventually unless someone like Trump gets us completely out of NATO. Probably better Ukranians die now instead of Americans in the future. Putin isn't stopping at the Ukraine breh.

The issue is, I shouldn't be the one having to make this argument. The administration has done a terrible job on this front. Biden is too damn old to coherently make this argument and there is too much political division for people to pragmatically examine this situation without political lenses.
