People really don't understand that wrestling ain't paying like it was during the attitude era. Telling these wrestlers to go to NWA, ROH, or Impact is like telling them to work for free. Hell we're finding out that Tony isn't even paying wrestlers as much ad we thought, he's just giving them free reign to do whatever they want.

That wouldn't have necessarily proved a point seeing as it's been rumored that some main roster talent would prefer being on NXT if it meant eventually getting a bigger opportunity.

No, But what's been funny is seeing/reading people's reactions to recent Vince stories. People swore Vince was pissed at Big Show for going to AEW, yet Big Show said Vince congratulated him and they still have a great relationship. Why would Vince care if he had no use for Big Show anymore? Big show will be back down the line for a HOF induction. Same as Jericho. They always end up coming back and Vince knows that. That also has nothing to do with this discussion as Big Show isn’t on the WWE roster or coming back right now to even get buried.
