Again I ask YOU, if Sherman is NOT THAT GOOD(as you are constantly suggesting), then why doesn't the offense adjust and put their best WR on him?

This is football, if the offense is whoopin you, you adjust as a defense, likewise if the defense is whoopin you adjust as an offense.

I'm not saying he's the best in the league but you can tell who and who hasn't played football. I have played with lots of corners who are much more talented and you don't have them shadow the receiver. You scheme it to your advantage and force receivers to the certain sides. If green bay wanted to take advantage at some point in the game they would have to of thrown to Sherman side.

Explain how Sherman gets thrown at less than the other elite corners in the league, yet has more passes deflected and interceptions than them, while QB's also have a lower QB rating throwing at him than any other corner.

SMH at you dudes bigging up Revis like that. Did you even watch him play in Tampa last year? He'd probably tell you himself he wasn't the same guy he was pre-injury. I'd be interested in seeing his stats vs. Brent Grimes' for 2013.

Revis is clearly superior to sherm.

I remember people used to say aso was better than revis because nobody threw at aso.

Meanwhile revis would shadow the number 1 wr all game with ZERO safety help and shut down the receiver.

Calling sherm a shut down corner is a insult to the term. Sherm benefits from playing on an elite defense and he constantly has safety help.

Uncertain grounds
so many straws being grasped at tonight :mindblown:

sherman getting hated on for not being targeted once and the seahawks basically cutting the field in half :banderas:

rodgers had a guy wide open down the sideline and instead he threw across his body 35 yards like favre to the other side and almost got picked cuz he was so used to not even looking down that side of the field :banderas:

if any of your hatin ass teams shut down the packers to 16 points and win youd be like :win::win::win: we played great.

Can't hate on sherm cuz rodgers played like a p*ssy tonight. How you claim to be to be the best in the NFL but scared to challenge somebody.

So what ur saying is the offense(the off. coaches, the QB) respects Sherman's skills SO MUCH, they figure they'll put the expendable-dummy WR on him and take their chance & work the best WR on the other side?

Point taken :sas1:
Sherman is a top 3 corner, but he's not completely avoid throwing to his side great. If you have the option of putting your best WR on the defense's worst CB, I would hope the coach tries to take exploit any obvious mismatch as much as he can. If Matt Bonner is trying to guard Durant, you'd try to take advantage of that instead of swinging the ball over to give to Stefolosha going against Kawhi.
