So they play hybrid. Sherman is in man more than he's in zone. That is until he goes against real wrs like ATL has. Then he bout that safety help, boss :mjpls:

Yea they play a hybrid scheme. He's predominantly in man when he has single wide on his side and there's two or more receivers on the other side. Then he usually plays man on an island while the rest of the D stays in zone.

Finally someone who understands fb

If I play seattle I know what I'm doing is putting my best wr away from sherman. Secound best in the slot. And let him bullshyt around with the 3rd and 4th wr all game. Which is what he does. So he going to dominate the on lower caliber wrs. Don't get me wrong he is really good corner, but that how you would attack any number 1 corner who is stationary.
too bad you don't play seattle.

you couch coaches who 'know' what to do in situations where great offensive coaches like sean payton and great qbs like peyton, arod were helpless...are cracking me up :heh:

So he designs the scheme? He's supposed to just tell everyone he wants to play on an island? Its a team game.

Do you nikkas even think of what youre typing before you hit send? :mindblown:

He don't wanna follow them around, he'll get exposed. Just like Nnamdi. The day will come where the wr on the oposite side is killin em and the team is actually moving the ball and scoring. If he stays on that side and allows it to happen, that tells me all I need to know. Hes a product of the system. Not someone you build your system around like Pat P and Revis.

U can put the blame on the coach for this. He lined up scrubs and TE's on Sherman side. His whole game plan was to play only half the field. We need a new coach and D coordinator. I never seen a coach play scared. fukking fat p*ssy :pacspit:

6 defenders versus 4 available targets

I wonder why this works...hmm

I don't know what your trying to get at with that comment. With a 4 man pash rush their are always more defenders in the secondary than their are receiving threats. Not to say what sherman does isn't valuable to their scheme but I don't think you make a good argument here.

What are you talking about. This is exactly what those coaches ARE DOING:stopitslime:. I didn't say its the magic formula to beat the seahawks. They have great defensive TEAM.

The strategy I talked about isn't me trying front like I'm smarter than any professional football coach. Its just simply the most logical thing to from a football perspective against that type scheme(from a personell point of view).

Who the fukk r u kidding? Its not up to a star cb to demand he covers the best wr? Tell that to Revis. Tell that to Deion. And Pete know he's not Revis or Pat P. That's why the D isnt built around him. And he doesnt insist he moves around. Just like Nnamdi

Richard Sherman is a top 3 corner but the Earl Thomas is the real enforcer on that team and a little weird how underrated he is. Kam Chancellor as well, really the Seahawks defense has an intimidating aura. I have never seen Aaron Rodgers lack so much confidence in his throws or in the pocket. I think he only passed the ball deep twice (which actually worked at times to spread the defense a little). Don't get me wrong Richard Sherman is a beast, but the Packers are a poor matchup for them.
