Don't understand why anybody would even humor the idea that Republicans would ever vote for this. Gerrymandering/voter suppression is their main method of retaining power.
Yup, Republicans haven't been voting in good faith for anything with Democrats in power for years. That's why it makes no sense for Manchin/Sinema to stand on their high horse saying how they want to uphold true democracy when going against the foul ass Republicans.
