I remember when "Request Line" first dropped, they was catching flack for basically making another "Hey Mr. DJ" but lowkey, that shyt is just as classic as the original. They used to play a Detroit version of that shyt on 105.9 when it first converted to Rap/R&B in 1996 with lil changes to certain words to reflect Detroit...shyt was dope as hell, I been wanting to hear that version again for almost 20 yrs
