So...just wondering exactly how this works. The company that finds the virus essentially owns it. They now modify, enhance, w/e it. Essentially they patent it. When I worked in a lab the company ATCC would send us bacterial tablets. Once reconstituted, you are able to grow the bacteria and culture it...

So this company just discovered Zika, and has been able to replicate it. I don't necessarily think they engineered it.

I guess I'm just rambling.

Yeah, I don't think you can own a virus just discover it. That's like owning the common cold. More importantly why would anyone want own a virus. That's like asking for a million lawsuits.

Zika was engineered . It wasnt just discovered, its older than our parents.
