Please stop quoting me with your delusions and strawmans.

No one said shyt about cas :heh:

Pray tell what economic mishaps, besides kicking out the cacs and refusing to bend to regime change by allowing them back in to "invest" (spy and plot), Mugabe has made. Because as far as can be ascertained, Mugabe's feud with cacs and resultant economic woes is the impetus behind the fact the Zim economy is not as good as it once was. Since land reform Mugabe has overseen the gradual growth in farm product, opened up natural resources like mining and allowed China to invest. Tell me what he has done wrong and what you would have done better in his place.

You know as well as I do that @Barnett114 is an idiot and contributes nothing to conversation but ad hominem and strawman. He literally never adds anything to debate otherwise - even now with his stupid attempt to say I'm wrong on issues bc I have commented on trannies; I guess if I said I would beat his ass he would agree that 2+2=4, this is the bullshyt argument he makes.

think she means the fact that Africa isn't a nation, it's a continent of nations.
Im aware of that. I just thought Id use that correction that poster made to the article to bring up what I said.

And 100% irrelevant to this topic with no bearing on whether I am right or wrong. Your attack is just as hominem, like it always is. You don't debate b/c you're stupid. You depend on fallacies swaying people not to realize the strength and logic of my arguments (and oppositely the lack of argument you never make).

Can give some info on this?:ohhh:
Debswana is the joint-owned Diamond and coal mining company of Botswana. De Beers owns the other 50% of the shares.

Botswana was very poor when it discovered diamonds in the 1960s. It lacked capital to get its operation going. It offered De Beers a controlling share in a joint mining company to jump start its economy. Over the years, it bought more and more shares of Debswana.

It also moved diamond cutting and polishing to Botswana creating a value chain

What happened was Mugabe and his Government decided to give licenses to an assortment of Chinese firms, political cronies , the army and state mining companies. He did this to buy some of them off for political reasons. The diamonds were of the alluvial variety and once those were exhausted the companies started stalling on putting in more capital. In addition to that the Government was losing money because a lot of the cash was being siphoned away. It is pretty much an open secret that party connected officials, Chinese investors and other local people got the bulk of the cash. These issues were brought up multiple times and Mugabe's Government played the usual anti-West rhetoric and praised the Chinese investors. If Zimbabwe had used the Botswana model it would have increased transparency and maybe forced some of the money to pass through state coffers. Mugabe went the opposite route and created a smorgasbord of operators who benefited. The horse has already bolted and the old man is like 10 years too late to fix the problem, if he ever wanted to do so in the first place.

Does anyone have solid info on De Beers in the 21st century? Not to come across as irrational, but they're Satan incarnate historically.

CAC media propaganda. We haven no idea who this woman is, who paid her and who didn't. For the record, all world leaders have lavish festivities, whether their country be rich or poor. Mugabe is no more at fault than the Brazilian President who holds lavish parties and eats like a king despite favelas and the legiins of poor unwashed in Brazil. Child beg and pick up food off the ground in Brazil.

Why does the CAC media not criticize Brazil's government?

What about the Egyptian leader Mubarak who lived in his golden palace and held amazing parties whilst the Egyptian people struggled with illiteracy, unemployment, etc? The cacs watched this happen for 20 years until some Egyptian set himself on fukking fire b/c he couldn't afford to fukking eat.

Why did the cacs never criticize Egypt's government?
exactly that bytch was part of the cleaning crew

The West has always benefited from instability in Africa.

Forcing us to devalue our currencies and commodity prices, removing tariffs for their benefit. These cacs bleed Africa dry and act like they're doing us the favour.

That's why Africans need to put their all into intracontinental trade, infrastructure and political stability.

Resources they can't get anywhere but Africa we must force them to pay at a premium.

That recent MTN ruling in Nigeria, I can't wait for the day African nations impose fines that steep on Western corporations for violations.
