He’s Shawn Kemp because of the extreme leaping ability strong frame and weak side rim protection. Also he jumps so effortlessly and has great mobility.

I think there’s backlash because of the YouTube hype and how many busts came from that but if you watched this game regardless of competition you can see that he does freak of nature things. And has skill he’s not just a highlight reel he’s a great ball handler and passer and it’s crazy that he’s only 18 he’s actually young compared to others on his class.
But just watching him you can see he has a chance to be special.
I remember the first college game I watched Wiggins I expected to see this incredible athlete with incredible potential and after watching the game I was like he’s nowhere near as athletic as he was billed and he’s not really great at anything on the court
People say Wiggins motor is the problem but I just think he’s not that great at basketball period.
This isn’t about Wiggins my point is you can watch a guy once and tell if he has special potential. Zion clearly does will he reach it? Who knows

Nah, Shawn in his rookie year wasnt nearly as muscular as Zion is now. Zion is huge at 6'6 while Kemp needed to hit that weight room up at 6'10 when he came into the league.
Zion also has a bit of an outside shot, at least for the college game. Kemp was strictly inside, rebounds, fast breaks and dunks early on. He didn't develop a somewhat reliable jumper until later on.
If anything, Zion looks like an even more athletic Charles Barkley when he was on the Sixers.
