At all the Pelican fans who’d been talking shyt about AD after he left them. Now their golden boy Zion apparently isn’t too happy either.
He should force his way to Chicago
fukk what he wants, he hasn’t even played a full season yet and he can’t stay healthy for shyt. Be in shape and stay healthy before you start throwing your weight around, no pun intended.
He never wanted to be in New Orleans to begin with. He wants a big market for his brand.

Markets don’t matter in the NBA. Look at Giannis. He isn’t as marketable as Zion because he isn’t American and his English isn’t 100%. Yet he’s got commercials and billboards and all of that. The city that he plays in doesn’t matter anymore.
I don’t care what you think. He’s under contract for 3 more seasons and can’t stay healthy. None of this is news worthy.

This is why its hard for some to get into the NBA. Small market fans feel like they have no chance. The media will pounce on any superstar wanting to leave a market EVERY OFFSEASON. It's not fun. You don't have to worry about that in the NFL.
With that said...
Our franchise deserves this. It's not like we don't know how the NBA works, we were just victims of it with CP3 and AD. You have to win and win fast. Is it unfair? Yes. But is it reality? Yes.
Three coaches for Zion in three years is not a good look no matter how much some fans want to put lipstick on a pig. Us not making the playoffs the last two years I'm actually fine with. Zion's family is silly to think we can go from the #1 pick to a major contender in two years. But I always argued the franchise atleast needs to show substantial growth. And while we've shown flashes, we haven't shown anything substantial. Can't make a play in tournament, sign Derrick Favors and let him go, sign Eric Bledsode, sign Steven Adams...all bad fits. Have a bunch of young players and are inconsistent with playing them. So at times not only were we bad, but we were bad without giving our young guys run.
This franchise just can't get right. They remind me of the Saints. The Saints were just as bad before God finally blessed us with Payton and Brees. Then we finally became a franchise with a standard of winning. I hope the Pelicans get lucky like that one day but it seems we are allergic to any type of luck except that of the draft lottery.
David Griffin has to get it right this offseason. No more bullshyt. No more snake oil salesman sales pitches. Win some fukking games.

Also if this means that we are going to give Lonzo a big contract because BI and Zion like him then
