I don't see the comparison. Not at all. Are there elements that you could compare, of course but the same could be said for Diaw, Barkley, Rogers, LJ, Bennett, Draymond, LeBron, and Josh Smith. So when I think of comparison. Who is he most like that we seen in the past. We could be wrong. I said Olidipo was the next Wade. I was wrong. Now Vic has been great in his own right but he is not Wade.Don't matter when Mason got in the league he was a good player. Zion is a good player, he has a good upside, should surpass Mason. A much more athletic Mason is a great player easily a multiple time All-Star not sure why you take it as a slight.
He's more of a super glue guy than an MVP level player to me. That whole jumpshot needs to be reconstructed, he doesn't have ideal length, he needs to lose weight to improve his lateral quickness and foot speed to switch onto guards. His roles will be that of a finisher, secondary playmaker, high level rebounder, and defender who can switch everything.
Just be more realistic than saying Mason with a 43 inch vertical. That sounds retarded. Especially for those of us who been a lot of games and seen Mason a number of times.
Outside of LeBron, no one has been a superstar at 20 years old. Everyone has a lot to work on in their game at that age.

Where did all of this "Zion can't shoot" narrative come from? The games Ive seen him play, he was hitting a consistent jump shot from all over the court
