Damn i was just about to lay a bet on him winning rookie of the year. It was nuts to me the odds were only -160 for him to win with the preseason he had and him being such a huge favorite. This was just yesterday and the bookies are usually the first to get the info like this.

Smh at all the coli MD's in here. Look...his weight and explosion COULD be the culprit but there are plenty of players that have come into the league and developed knee issues early on. Lonzo and D'Lo both developed knee issues within their first years, and they arent carrying excess weight and D'Lo isnt even a explosive player. Point is, we dont know. It could be his style of play, weight, wear and tear, etc. The idea that his weight is too excessive for his knees are unfounded. Theres no guarantee losing weight will help him at all. What do you think they tell lineman when they tear their shyt? Not to lose weight, that's forsure.

Drop weight and develop a perimeter game.

:smugfavre:
You’re really a fukking weirdo. Mentally ill psychopath. Probably the only person I can think of who’d come into a thread about injury to push his agenda. Get a girl and retire from this board nikka

Ain’t this about a bytch...is the torn meniscus rumor true?

he may be one of those dudes who they have to reteach how to run...But he does need to get his body fat percentage lower.

Last part of your post makes no sense. An NFL lineman needs the bulk to play the position against other large men.
Zion does NOT need carry so much weight to play inside in the modern NBA. Fat ass players in the past succeeded in spite of their bulk, not because of it.

Whether this injury was directly or indirectly caused by weight or lack of conditioning......playing 80+ games at his draft night weight or higher is not the smart move.

And remember , I'm on the record as rooting for that young man.....but I predicted that he'd play less than 60 games this year because of his size.

This is semantics but the lose weight talk is killing me...dude needs to improve his conditioning and lose body fat but he will still need to maintain a good percentage of mass that he has.
