I'd say it's still seen as a point guard's role with exceptions.

But with stuff like Kyrie telling Harden "you're the pg", Jokic in general, this "ephinany" about Zion, plus the recent wave of triple doubles in the league, the shift feels more notable. Esp with star play.

The league is a lot more motion oriented and because the threat of the three pointer is so strong, high IQ playmakers that can make great decisions quickly are the most impactful players in the league.

The guys who can’t be guarded one on one and know how to react quickly to different defensive schemes while reading the tempo of the game.

Zion is learning when to dominate, how to react to set defenses, how to use his teammates, when to react to those defenses, and expanding his scoring skill set at the same time.

I remember dudes calling Zion a bum lol. When I seen him in HS the talent looked like little kids, but when he got to college I was like yeah breh is real

Same here. Wasnt impressed with his HS tape but once he hit Duke and was still doing it big, I had to respect it:yeshrug:
His too fat to play and be successful playing point full time

That username/post correlation:wow:

Once I seen him power through Tacko Fall off the spin move and finish the layup on that and-one in March Madness, I knew he was different

I always knew he was talented since he started bubbling out of HS. He dominated at Duke out the gate but that moment right there is when I realized he was special and would eventually be one of the greatest players in the NBA
