I just realized that for people like her, calling their kids Black is like having a safety school in case they can't get into their first choice pick. They're not sure how their offspring will fare in the white world, but, our history tells them that many Black people will put them on pedestals and white supremacists will favour them more as "Acceptable Blackness" since their white heritage affirms their delusional sense of superiority. Black people need to stop over hyping blandracials that often add nothing to our collective Black culture, if anything, their whiteness only lets outsiders stake a claim in our achievements. We need to divest ourselves of outsider influences in our affairs, as they have done with us.fukk her.

Yup. The bottom of the political caste system for poverty and mistreatment, and the bottom rung hold on to that title so dearly, sadly. Black has no scientific basis and she definitely would not be classified as "White" from first glance or social standing. She looks like a relative of mine and I am classified as AA. Don't see anything wrong with her identifying as Black no more than Ralph Bunche who could literally pass for White(and did great things for Blacks and most importantly humanity as a whole, though I am not directly comparing that annoying anorexic twit Saldana with the great Nobel Prize winner). What's wrong with her raising "light skinned" (whatever the fukk that means) black men from a two parent home with money and access? Most of the self hating blacks that I know are generally are dark skin/wide featured raised by single "black" women and had wig wearing Jezus loving grandmas who chanted that whole "light skinned babies go to heaven" mantra. Giving their lighter grandkids more candy and toys and riding in the front seat to the store and shyt. Can't wait til this concept of race dies out.
