Above the fray.
How were those HOF big men doing against James Edwards, Kevin Duckworth, Vlade Divac, Bill Cartwright, Cliff Robinson, Mark West, Will Purdue, Luc Longley, Frank Brickowski, Sam Perkins, Greg Foster, and Greg Ostertag? :jbhmm:

For all the constant talk of the "dominant" big men who were supposedly tearing down stadiums in the 1990s, those big men sure seemed to have some mediocre records in comparison to the teams with poor-to-mediocre centers who actually played in most of the Finals.

:sas1::sas2:
MJ....the expansion of the use of the 3 pointer is what allowed the Bulls to dominate the league without a big man. Take away the Bulls run and from dawn of the modern NBA...the merger...........until end of the Shaq/kobe reign...your dominant teams and champs had all star big men....4s or 5s.

mid tier 90s big men like Ron Seikaly would wash the undersized DG

Draymond Green is just undersized. Center position is an after thought in the modern nba so you can get away with him defending that position.
Warriors score so many points that opposing teams abandon the plodding post game at some point to keep up with them.

DG would be FOOD in any other era guarding centers.

Pride is what keeps his fans from admitting the obvious points.

Your undersized centers of the past who had success defensively were super strong...especially lower bodies and were hard to move of the block.....your ben wallaces , wes unselds and willis reeds

No matter how many times you keep repeating this won't make it true.

and the smilies won't erase the numbers that Zubac put on DG
And this is why you don't know what the fukk you're talking about. Again, you couldn't be more transparent over the fact you're not watching games. Zubac only scored ONE bucket against Draymond - all his other points came against other defenders.

Zubac statline against your man doesn't go away because of your use of smilies.
What the fukk are you even talking about?

Zubac scored ONE field goal against Draymond.
Zubac and Draymond were barely matched up in the game - Draymond was typically defending the PnR, ball-handlers, LeBron, and the stretch bigs. Looney was matched up with Zubac for the majority of the game.

Imagine thinking Zubac was scoring on Draymond just because you brought into some agitprop shyt made and fueled by cornballs on this board.

:lolbron:

It just goes to show how furious Draymond and this team makes dudes on this board that they have to make up shyt to keep their agenda alive.

Curry scored one field goal against Zo and couldn't get shyt against him, but that doesn't mean anything, right? You're literally hypocritical in the same day. :mjlol:

Draymond was god awful out there after the first few minutes when he forced a few turnovers. He was non-existent on defense and he's supposed to be their anchor and he couldn't even stay on the court.

that's what you're running with...
you saw the thread................ducked it......and now this is the plea you're copping?

You are a default-excuse maker.

What was DG's statline and what was the statline of the opposing starting center?

Would you say that DG was outplayed?

I don't even need to hit the incognito to know that an "ignored member" quoted my post, either taking what I said out of context, or is referencing something completely irrelevant.

DG HIMSELF said he was awful and blamed himself for the loss, but dude is out here copping pleas and making excuses.

Have a look for yourself.

Draymond played at the 4, and Looney played at the 5 for the Warriors. Again, if you had bothered to even watch the game you'd know that Draymond wasn't playing center. How many times do you need to be told that Draymond barely even matched up with Zubac, as Looney was guarding him primarily? You can stop embarrassing yourself now.
