It's not bizarre at all, Dray's been banging in the paint against dudes bigger than him for years. That was always gonna catch up with him sooner rather than later.
Draymond hasn't had an "embarrassing season", he's just shot poorly; he's still been a game-changer on the defensive end (especially prior to his injury), and provided solid playmaking - he's been valuable in areas where his strengths lie. A lot of his other struggles stem from the defensive workload he's had over the last four seasons, coming back from injury, and pacing himself for the postseason.
