That Shane McMahon opening segment shows why mic work and storylines are always the most important aspect in the business. People hate the soap opera elements of wrestling, but when you have the TALENT that can make it work, it always take preference over the in ring aspect imo. In ring wrestling is real great, but how many of the current or new wrestlers on the roster can cut a promo that Shane did, or better yet, anybody even on Shane O'Mac's level on the mic or even come close to it?
