It started over 50 dissing Ja on the original, "Your Life's on the Line". 50 has stated that he attacked Ja because of how Ja, allegedly, treated him after witnessing 50 with a person who robbed him in the past. However, Ja says that explanation is pure fantasy. He also theorizes that 50, most likely, dissed him to create attention for his album like he did with "How To Rob".

Me personally, I think Ja's explanation makes the most sense when you examine 50's actions at the time. First, the reception to How To Rob, by the public, garnered more attention for 50 than any of his other singles, which were flops. The success of that record gave 50 a reason to start randomly dissing rappers. To him, naming-names was his winning formula to create cheap heat for himself and POAD, and he points that out his music,

"Since 'How to Rob' a lot of nikkas been naming names
Monkey see monkey do, I done changed the game"

.Working off that premise, and taking into account that POAD was getting pushed back, his singles were still flopping, and that he attacked Mr. cheeks, Onyx, and Ja rule on the OG version of Your Life's on the Line. You can start to see that Ja rule's point has real merit. There is enough evidence there to conclude that Your Life's On Line, OG version, was meant to be a spiritual successor To How to Rob, in terms of drawing big attention to 50.

This is kinda beside the point, but i'm sure, if Ja rule just ignored 50, he would've just moved on. Actually, there is even evidence to suggest he was...

Once Fif realized that he could bait Jay Z, he forget all about Ja. It wasn't until the ATL incident were Ja checked his ass that everything changed. Unfortunately for Ja, Preme hired a shooter who couldn't aim, the culture had heavy bias for a artist with a "street" perception/persona, 50 was making great music, and weaven ridiculous narratives that ppl believed just off his word.

When you really think about it, Ja just got unlucky.

So where does him being a snitch come into play?

Basically all this stems from 50 dissing them on track and they retaliated by putting a hit out on his life.

If they stabbed dudes up to "check his ass" then I'm liable to believe he wasn't supposed to make it out there alive.

I don't know man, I can't call 50 a snitch for any of this. as much of an a$$hole as 50 is, I can't say he was in the wrong for how that situation played out.

Non of what you posted leads me to believe 50 is a snitch. Real street nikkas wanted him dead over some rap shyt, and they were actively trying to kill dude when he was on the brink of blowing up.

Maybe shyt would have been cooler to you nikkas if ja and 50 got murdered over that shyt.

You've a couple facts incorrect which is leading you to a false conclusion. The hit on 50's life wasn't due to him solely dissing Ja on Your Lifes On The line. It was due to him constantly antagonizing and provoking Murder Inc, refusing to do sitdowns, snitching on Irv, his brother, and Black Child, and indirect snitching on Preme himself. Those are the reasons that caused him to get shot. In point, the cause was his disruptive and careless attitude, and his yearning for attention.

fyi, I could careless on how you personally define a snitch.
