My grandaddy taught me to shoot when I was 10, thats just part of country living. But it was a .22 rifle not no dayum uzi. We'd go hunting for rabbits. There is no reasonable explanation for a 9 yr old to know how to shoot an uzi.

He's a dumb ass for trying to get her to handle an uzi but I don't see anything wrong with a father teaching his little girl to shoot at nine years old. There are smaller guns she could easily handle. Knowing how to shoot is not the same as going out and shooting up any and everything.

a small gun is the last thing you should give to a child. smaller guns are easier to turn toward other people accidentally. a longer gun in a small caliber is best for all new shooters. a bolt action 22LR is probably the best
