I can't really get into these "bringing it back" types. At the end of the day a rapper gets by on making songs that in turn make you want to listen to him more, not old records by other rappers. He's young so you gotta give him time, but he needs to carve out his own identity instead of trying to invoke an older generation. You want to know who the rapper is, not who his favorites are. Right now it's just all flows, super lyrical miracle genitals, and late 80s nostalgia

Then again, at least it's better than Fetty Wap or Young Thug:manny:. Not really saying much but it's a start I guess.

I mean not to shyt on dood because he definitely has some skill/talent.

But how exactly is he going to "save" Hip Hop sounding like a lost member of Blackilicous?

And what is he saving Hip Hop from exactly? Lyrics that brag about clothes and chains? Better stop penning rhymes and start building a time machine.

Never heard of this guy

Unless a nikka brings back and modernrises G funk, there is no bringing back the golden age of hip hop
