I think it comes down to more black people probably know somebody like LeBron, I mean look at it like this, which one is more likely to go to a BBQ listen to Kool and the gang and eat up all the ribs & potato salad? I bet every party Bron throws with his family and friends involves the electric slide at some point.

With black people, I don't think it's none of this stuff. Someone mentioned it earlier but Kobe lead this poll the last few years. Black folks are just fickle and always looking for the flavor of the month.

People sided with Pac, not becuz of right or wrong, but becuz he was the loudest, most obnoxious, and most popular rapper at the time.

Adidas was pretty respectable when Kobe signed though. They weren't fukking with Nike but Adidas Equipment, T-Macs, Gil Zeros were straight. It's not until Kobe wanted to wear Audis on his feet that Adidas started taking a turn for the worst.

I like what @No_bammer_weed said about Kobe's treatment during the Colorado incident. Very similar to the lack of beat down Brett Favre got. I can only imagine if that was McGrady smh..
