I believe in advancing the successes of black women and men and most importantly the black family (structure). Black women's issues are unique and I don't believe this movement aligns with it. It's confusing trying to understand what exactly they are trying to accomplish.

I see your point.

I just asked because you seemed to be one of the most pro-black females on this site.

Then you shouldn't mind helping :usure:

My OP had no indictment of any of the women I tagged :leostare:
I just feel like you're trying to put over some kind of petty point and I already said I'll help any way I can but I didn't see anything about a petition, kickstrater, or any way I can help women across the globe. Not only am I one person but I'm a broke college student whose low on resources at the moment. Best I can do is share this on social media.

Did you read the thread? Sharing the article and MAYBE a photo with a sign of solidarity (if you are comfortable) is all the woman asks.

My challenge was really more towards

But why not tag all BW?

Puerta Medusa.
The Black Brazilian women are specifically asking for the help of Black women not men.

I don't get why these threads have to male vs female. Either the females here are willing to send a fukking picture or they aren't. These women aren't asking for money, only support. I don't get the big deal.

This isn't even about being a feminist, it's being a black woman and understanding the unfair stereotypes displayed by the media.

Y'all need to cut it the fukk out.

1) I am not a feminist

2) fukk you @Poitier for using a very valid issue in Brazil as a pawn for your e-battles with Black women...

3)Everyone should be working towards eliminating vile depictions of Black women from major media (including Black men)

4) From my position, the best thing I can do to help this cause is to a. help raise awareness b. provide online support c. boycott/avoid the causes of the distress...

Well black men are the handmaidens of vile images of black women.

I don't disagree (besides certain LSA members who need to be called out)

Still don't know why you're mentioning me.

Don't worry about it. Saved for future reference :smugbiden:

I am pro black. That's why I'll be willing to spread the word.

Me personally I don't think this situation should just include black women in general but blacks in general. Like this other poster and me said the black pride movement is slowly growing in Brazil; Afro-Brazilians almost share the same struggle as African Americans. This Brazilian women asked for AAW help. I think this can be the start of Black Americans and Afro-Brazilians establishing some type of strong tie. This is if...Both parties really go for it.

None of the 1st group of women/trolls responded (of course) so I tagged more reasonable BW who MAY want to help. I'll change the title.
