Well I know no one can not deny how the rap culture degrades women in general. But to be honest, most cultures degrade women. The degrading of black women by black men has nothing on how Arab culture degrades their women. Or even how Latin American culture too. Not trying to be in denial, but just saying.
Me personally I don't call a women a ho unless she really is one. IMO blame hip hop culture not black men in general. Again my opinion.

Not on THAT account![]()
When will these accusations cease? True. And we don't even own the labels that sign the rappers and control what they put out![]()

I definitely agree. The images of Afro Brazilians are pretty much invisible save for stereotypes and caricatures or controlled by the white majority. We could definitely benefit from forging a relationship and acknowledging the struggle we share as new world blacks.Me personally I don't think this situation should just include black women in general but blacks in general. Like this other poster and me said the black pride movement is slowly growing in Brazil; Afro-Brazilians almost share the same struggle as African Americans. This Brazilian women asked for AAW help. I think this can be the start of Black Americans and Afro-Brazilians establishing some type of strong tie. This is if...Both parties really go for it.
But we need to discuss and gain clarity on what phenomena the unfavorable economics are driving. You can't just brush all issues under the rug and assume that better economic realities will auto-solve the problems. That's the same mistake white communists make when they boil everything down to class and try to gloss over race, nationalism, gender, etc.
We need to understand intersectionality. The groups you identify with aren't the only ones with legitimate problems. How are all these issues linked?

Sent my picture in and retweeted, hope they can get this show off the air
