Black women were seen as the same thing to other men far before black men started rapping.

Our women were sold, traded and put on display for our bodies FAR before rap existed. I can't agree with this statement.

yeah and whos fault is it that a lot of yall sit here and perpetuate it? (including some black women)

we gotta take personal responsibility too.

It's certainly important to know where black men took their cues from.

What the fukk are you talking about? Is slavery black men's fault? Are negative racial stereotypes black men's fault? Because if not you're quoting me out of context.

if the only way you're forced to acknowledge the issue is through separation, then let it be separate. that seems to be the way for you who want to ignore the issues of others within your group because it doesn't benefit you

Why are you arguing with me. I'm on the side of black folks male or female. The separation isn't necessary. It's all our issue. But go ahead and feel special about your special unique oppression. It's not a contest.

That's an interesting take on it. Black men aren't the only people who disrespect their women in entertainment. But the disrespect of black women is not only done by black men, it's done by all men.

You're completely ignoring the issue at hand to argue and shame black men. Are you going to send a picture in support?
