Well seems you can't point out any other race that uses a derogatory term when referring to themselves in a casual manner. Hence making the term so prevalent. That's my point. I think you get it but are saving face man.

what you're not considering is the history of racism in this country/world. the negative bias in which blacks have been subjected to. Drake surely knows this, yet he continues to willfully perpetuate negative stereotypes of his black side, while showing respect for the other side. Do you know what minstrel shows are and how they were instrumental into the development of the music industry? Do you remember that whole NWA Jerry whatever fiasco? Quit being obtuse. You need to look at the bigger picture.

The point is that this poisonous hiphop culture is affecting the entire black community negatively on a global scale. This isn't about ME, an individual. Its about the entire race. Yall are too blind and ignorant to understand how this propaganda is being used against us.
Black people on a mass scale needs a shift in consciousness. This music is designed to keep us in an ignorant mindset.

Besides, for the purpose of this forum, telling people to boycott Drake is like going to a concert in Wichita and yelling out "WICHITAAAA!!!!" If you really wanna see how conflicted and hypocritical people get, tell them to boycott Future. Boycott those rappers they love so much, but since we all know you don't wanna stop there, just tell a hip hop forum to stop listening to hip hop and see how far you get since that's really what you want.
Part of why heads who can otherwise think for themselves wanna come at you sideways is because you're assuming we're all mentally fukked by rap and somehow you made it unscathed. I think we're aware of what propaganda can do. We're just not the casualties you're assuming we are. Address the ones who are affected by the propaganda not the ones who aren't.
