Besides, for the purpose of this forum, telling people to boycott Drake is like going to a concert in Wichita and yelling out "WICHITAAAA!!!!" If you really wanna see how conflicted and hypocritical people get, tell them to boycott Future. Boycott those rappers they love so much, but since we all know you don't wanna stop there, just tell a hip hop forum to stop listening to hip hop and see how far you get since that's really what you want.


Part of why heads who can otherwise think for themselves wanna come at you sideways is because you're assuming we're all mentally fukked by rap and somehow you made it unscathed. I think we're aware of what propaganda can do. We're just not the casualties you're assuming we are. Address the ones who are affected by the propaganda not the ones who aren't.

Drake was raised as a Canadian Jew. Yes Cole was also raised by white mom but dude grew up in the South, In Ameirca. He most likely had some black homies coming up, probably always said the N word, and I doubt he has ever felt white when dealing with cops or older white people. I'm asking why would you expect a race to disrespect another race. In terms of black rappers I have no problem with using nikka in songs. I'm moreso concerned with destructive lyrics that focus on killing fellow black people or perpetuating stereotypes (all the lyrics about "light skin" women being more desirable than dark women for instance). I do care about the disrespect. I'm just saying take that kite comparison and throw it in the bushes.

nikka if you're black in America, you're black in America. I know plenty of half-black, half-white nikkas, and these nikkas are black americans. Period. Cops aint giving light skin nikkas passes. And a lot of biracial dudes got darker skin too. There is no "black enough" when it comes to this country. As far as Drake goes, Im not saying he isn't black, but nikka was raised a Jew in Canada.
