I hope he has a huge year. Just needs to continue to develop as a defensive anchor, work hard on his post scoring and he may have a strong shot at that #1 spot. He's already a beast on the boards. Doesn't hurt if his teammates feed him more.

:what:
I didn't say noel is better i said he would put up better numbers
reason is drums is playing with moose & jsmoove
I understand what you meant completely. But he played with those same guys last year and put up 13, 13 and 2 blocks. And this year he'll finally have a quality coach that plans on making him the focus of the offense and defense. So those numbers are going to be quite possibly even better. For Noel to put up better #'s your basically saying he'll put up something like 14 and 14 in his rookie season. I just don't see that happening :yeshrug:

Drummond is really good player but I don't that happening yet.

Noah
Howard
Gasol
Lopez (don't forget about him)
Cousins

are clearly better than him.

The pistons lineup is all fukked up though. Monroe (who's more skilled than Dru) should not be on the floor with Drummond. they hurting each others games.

Drummond is a dark horse pick, but it's now or never for cousin's to step up and claim that spot

No matter how good a year he has I will always feel like there's a couple big men who are better than him. He's so ehh to me :manny:

(Marc) Gasol is the total package, I feel like he's overall been the best center in the league for the last 3 or 4 years and never was acknowledged as such.

The most underwhelming area of Lopez game is his rebounding. Nothing define big men's toughness more than rebounding to me. So I can see where you coming from.

With that being said, Brook Lopez was 4th in the NBA in PER at some point. HIs post finnese is up there with the best and his defence keeps improving. Hopefully he'll come back stronger after his injury.

Breh, Drummond put up 14/13/2/1 on 62% last year, Nerlens isn't doing that.

i'm basically going off the lack of front court players philly has
they lost t.young & s.hawes (2 of they top 3 players) -as long as noel dosnt get hurt... he should eat well

The only stat drumms will have over noel is FG%
IMO everything else noel will either be equal or better

Nah, Drummond is a historically good rebounder, if he didn't play with Josh Smith and Monroe he would be pulling down 14-16rpg a night.

There's no way Noel even sniffs 13rpg, Drummond is just a monster on the glass.

Based off what? Did you watch Noel @ Kentucky? Dude was a bit of a disappointment even before his knee shattered. Noel is going to be a beast on defense, but Drummond will be a better pro than him.

No, No he wasn't. He was set to break Anthony Davis's shotblocking record. The players surrounding him were the disappointments (mainly ryan harrow, kyle wiltjer). I don't see him being able to average 10 rebounds in his first season
