Yeah he was on pace to match or break that shot blocking record (Davis averaged .03 more per game), but his offensive game is just not that great. I have a tough time seeing him average double digit points consistently in the NBA.
People said the exact same shyt about Anthony Davis in the beginning of the year, we didn't get to see his full progression, he showed off more of his offense in the summer league, he was driving to the basket taking people off the dribble. Drummond had pretty awful offense at uconn too

Who said that about AD? They weren't paying attention then...he basically grew out of the SG position.
fukkING EVERYONE. Even going into the draft people said his offense sucked, go check his draft express scouting video, they talk about his lack of offense. He was a terrible jumpshooter at KY and basically scored only off lobs and dunks until the very end of the season when he was hitting jump hooks. He grew out of the PG position not SG

The point is we didn't get to see Noel at "that point in their career". Noel was injured the entire second half of the season. Davis only showed a glimpse of his offensive progression at the very end and in the NCAAT. he scored like 2 or 4 points in the national championship game. Davis was just as raw as Noel was halfway into the season, only thing Davis had over him was that he had better form on his jumpshot even though he missed almost all of his attempts (Noel never shot a jumpshot that I can remember). I watched him in Summer League, Noel's offense is much improved.

He is getting some good looks but the shots aint falling. And he has gained some post moves and solid counters
