Are the Majority of Movie Theaters doing the assigned seating BS?

Went to a local small theater, where I haven't been to since summer '16, to find out they started this.

I know high class theaters in LA do this. I hate this shyt.

This is negable. Assigned seating is the best thing to happen to theaters. No more bullshyt with fighting over seats and getting on a line for 2 hours just to grab a good seat. Only nerds would be mad about that.

Assigned seating is bullhit because movie theaters arent built for it in some circumstances the FRONT ROW is the worst... and if you got a credit card you don't have to wait on line...

Only downside is there are only about 15-20 seats, so big movies sell out faster, but it's a good tradeoff.

fukk sitting in those tiny ass theater seats, next to some fat nikka taking up half the arm rest and some tall dude or dude with an afro whose big ass head is blocking part of the screen.

One of the best ideas ever. Now I don't have to worry about being early to get good seats. Especially since all my local theaters show about 40 minutes of trailers before the movie.

If it's the assign recliner seats the only negative is a big release cause all the good seats get snapped up quick

Had to sit in regular seats for avengers and you notice the difference. I even started trying to feel the buttons to recline the seat
