basically the same way you can witness the birth of a child from a mother's womb and still believe in God. Or how you can understand the various mechanisms that govern weather and still believe in God. Or how you can believe in free will AND an all knowing God.

Or how you can NOT know what was before or slightly after the big bang and still believe. Or how you can NOT know what exists at the center of a black hole and still believe. Or how you can NOT know why physics break down at microscopic levels.

Science and a belief in God are not mutually exclusive.
