She has never been to DR, to the hoods down there. She's hanging with your Spanish friends in Harlem and probably getting off because she seems them dancing and having good cultural family fun - whatever case may be - the lives down there are so tied to religion (which is a mash of euro and african traditions) because that's all they have. At least a decade ago they were on some 1890's southern black shyt (i'm exaggerating here)- but you know soutern blacks were deep in the church, pentacostals and baptists which have roots in African rituals . African spirituals being the root of alot of this. REason being is that they live in such a depressed state of being and mind in all avenues that they have to be highly spiritual and family oriented and community driven because a) that's all they have b) that's all they know. They've traded a higher level of being and intelligence to dumb (to the world) but happy spiritually and family. It's like the world before the tower of Babel was created.
