If the child had been killed there would have had no one to pit the blame to except for the POLICE who shot at them. Not Korryne. But the police. The child is in the hospital because of the POLICE.


The fact that that they shot first -- after breaking down her door, over traffic tickets, knowing there is a child inside -- yet people will still pledge to blame her is astounding to the paramounts of slave logic.

If someone shoots at you first, in the property of your home, and you shoot back, that's called self-defense. That's not "esalating", that's not "being a crazy black bytch", that's self-defense.


No one is at all perplexed of the police state just casually engaging in state terrorism.

Given her behavior in the video, the fact the police showed patience to work with her for six hours I find it hard to believe she was shot without cause. Why waste six hours if you're not trying to end the situation peacefully. This goes against logic here.

Tired of people acting like everyone shot by the police is a martyr. Eric garner, Walter Scott, Castille were legit. But in this case this chick brought this on herself at least based on what we've seen so far.

Without the precedent that has been set by law enforcement I would agree with you, but being that all those aforementioned cases exist, and we have hundreds even thousands more of police officers lying, killing citizens, falsifying reports etc, etc, and then being protected by the system. I feel some skepticism and and scrutiny of the even is more than warranted.

You have to ask yourself why they were at her door in swat equipment to arrest a known mentally disabled person for a traffic ticket in the first place. They knew she was violent, suicidal and with children before they went over there. Seems a different approach should have been used before we even got to the point of a stand off.

Personal accountability goes both ways.

And that's the problem with these cases the police are never held accountable while the untrained citizen is held to the highest standards of conducts otherwise their death/assault/arrest is justified.

That goes out the window once you pull a gun dude. No one is trying to institutionalize someone when your life is in danger. Unfortunately if she had surrender like her family was asking her to, she could have gotten the help she needs if her family could afford it. It's unfortunate.

Unfortunately the mental health services in this country are terrible mainly due to defunding by the Reagan administration. So a lot of state funded help isn't there. So unfortunately that burden would have laid with the family which I don't agree with. But at the same time while I have sympathy for that in principle, in a in the moment situation, that is not really relevant once people's lives are on the line

My previous posts were a bit crass because I admit personal annoyance with how I see a lot online activism and how much people sink emotional cost into a specific narrative. Like I said, not every shooting is a case of someone being unjustifiably targeted. Not trying to hear that shyt when the person shot as shown in the video posted turns an average traffic stop into a civil rights issue for example and also as a result I'm led to believe they are unstable to threaten the police with a gun. As far as the mentally ill question, like I said once gun play is involved most people's priority is not dying not mental health help.

The story is that she raised the shotgun first though. Not sure it's smart to take a gamble that when someone raises a gun at you that they won't fire it. At that point if you get shot it is what it is. Her mother and family are not disputing she was sitting on the floor with a shotgun in her hand with her baby.

in the news clip.. the guy even said "at times it felts like it was going to be solved peacefully" meaning some of those officers.. felt they could save her... some idiot fired...despite a kid being in the house... so yes..he is responsible cuz that officer's feeling wasnt straight....wheover it is..s hould have walked away.
