I didn't see Carr being this good this early. He does, but I'm just talking about the Carr vs Jameis/Bridgewater/Bortles thread that use to be hot.
And my ongoing bickering with @Dr. Narcisse
They know he doesn't have weapons or a running game to take the pressure off of him. There's no Zeke, Dez, Murray, Evans or Cooper in Philly.

I liked Teddy over him after his rookie year.
I liked Bortles over him last year (slightly)
Carr has taken a step that those two haven't or couldn't in Teddy's case .
Carr is clearly better, I do think Bortles is in a bad situation.
Bortles has two top 20ish Wrs ,a reliable TE, a very solid defense, maybe a subpar OL. But a lot of QBs would love to be in his situation compared to what they have to work with.I didn't see Carr being this good this early.

I know. I just think he has bad coaching though. Their recently fired OC was trash in Oakland.Bortles has two top 20ish Wrs ,a reliable TE, a very solid defense, maybe a subpar OL. But a lot of QBs would love to be in his situation compared to what they have to work with.
