Ironically I could see Donald convinced he would have to tax companies on having robots replace humans, not much different than taxing companies for building plants overseas

Donald has yet to acknowledge the (bigger) issue of automation so I don't see this happening at all.

Companies don't pay people to purchase their products. The Fed prints money and the Banks issue debt/credit.
