Who did they colonize if the original inhabitants of the land were long gone by the time Arabs arrived in Egypt? It was Roman / Byzantine reign during the Arab conquest of Egypt. Do you think these people were black? Most of the population at that time were Coptic and they ain't black.
Ppl don’t realize ancient Egypt existed for over 2000 years…it was a mixture of ppl… started more than likely with the black Nubians as they migrated further north…. But once Egypt was established various groups mixed due to trade, marriage, alliances, war, etc.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Colonizers? What colonies were created?
During the seventh century the Arabs invaded North Africa three times, bringing not just a new religion but a language and customs that were alien to the native Berber tribes of the Sahara and Mediterranean hinterland.

Do u need a source?

Guys. It’s not that difficult to understand. Yes. The original Egypt was mostly black. They conquered and / were conquered by various light skinned empires. And when a territory is conquered. In those days that meant a lot of rape was going on. They raped their subdued opponents and when their opponents gained power they did their own raping too. From violent rape springs forth generation of babies prone to violence. Hence the unrest in the middle east. Hence the mixed look of most Egyptians.

Ding! Ding!

If you out here claiming ADOS, you ain't got no link to the Ancient Egyptians.

I respect Egypt for the pyramids and Book of the Dead but, West Africa is where it's at for me. Folks need to stop it with the Eye of Heru and Anks. We dont come from that!

Kenya is the Motherland of Black people and all of humanity to begin with.

Not caping for Arabreh just stating facts:whoa:

Big facts. It's Kenya/Ethiopia, then the Original man migrated West to Nigeria/Sahel, and from there went South. Arabs are descendants of Africans that jumped from Somalia into Yemen, the same group of Africans that populated the North of Africa and became Berbers, but those are two different branches of the Afro-Asiatic language/ethnicity. Not even Hotep babble either. Stop calling "Egypt" (Lower Egypt specifically) the "Motherland of Black people" when Historically that's the part that had red/light brown skinned people due to the constant influx of immigrants from Mesopotamia, Canaan, and Greece. Nubia aka Kush (which is Upper Egypt historically) is the "Black" part of the ancient (and very heterogeneous) Egyptian empire and was the seat of power I believe from the 25th Dynasty upwards. In fact there are more Pyramids in what is modern day Sudan than all of Egypt. But fukk it lets just keep dikkriding Egypt because it's easier to be dumb than do the minimal amount of research :beli:

Exactly. Egypt was a powerful empire and attracted all sorts of people. Not to mention that Egyptians themselves (both modern and the past) range from the pitch black to pale. Egyptomania is lazy history and completely ignores the rich past of the rest of the Continent.

Prepared to be negged and called all sorts of cacs though:francis:

Sista’s only mistake was using the term “terrorist” because that term detracts from her argument and is kinda bigoted if we being real. It was an unnecessary insult that allowed Arab dude to take the moral high ground.:francis:

I will however let the word “colonizer” slide because the Arabs did kinda take the place over. Notice that the Egyptian dude didn’t refute this point cause it is a fact.:whoa:

Agreed, it’s that Great Lakes area.

FOH ancient Egyptians were not Arabs or Euros.
It really depends on when you take the sample. That Egyptian dude and really most people are unaware that Egypt was a pass around empire after Babylonians/Chaldeans came through. And literally everybody except East Asians had their hand in the pot.

If the dna sample he is talking about came during Persian rule or Hittite rule or even after Babylonian rule then he can claim it was Arab accurately. He just gotta specify what period of “ancient Egypt” it is taken from. Its Same way whites can legitimately claim samples taken after the greeeks and romans done raided the place are euro.

My only issue with him is that he is being disingenuous, because the point that sister was making was that Egypt was started by black people. There she is obviously correct. The very first Egyptians were indeed migrants from the Great Lakes region who moved up the blue/white Nile to build Kemet. I think this is where she was going with the arguement, but phrased it as a black origin story.

There’s are racist Egyptian anthropologists out there putting out disinformation. Purposely removing African genetics from Egyptian people and fueling racism fueled disinformation.

There is no uniform Egyptian DNA - but above all it is African. It was been conquered and inhabited by many people for hundreds of thousands of years.

Here’s a good primer by one of the most prolific black anthropologist explaining exactly how biased and flawed anthropology is used to justify racism and erasure of “blackness” under the erasure of African DNA from these studies.
