I honestly think Love is more effective when someone else is running the offense. Love can get you 20 off the bench. I don't think you can get that with Rose or Crowder

2.Love killed boston in the playofts:22.6/12.4/2.6/1.4/1.2/48%/53%/87%....and played good defense on top of it.

3.Yes,Lebron is the primary ball handler.But Thomas will still have a top 15 usage rate and get 18-20 shots per game.Infact,IT will get easier shots because of Lebron.

4.Rose might have lost a half step,but he still gets to the basket whenever he wants,and can light up any pg.

Rose had another torn meniscus surgery again last season. I would put a question mark on what contribution he will give this season. He also will most likely be used as a two guard so he is going to be matched up with two guards instead of point guards that will force him to shoot and cut off his drive to the lane. Love will be matched up against Morris who rebounds decently this time instead of Amir Johnson or Olnyk. I don't think Thomas will be that impactful as an off ball player. He really came into his own last season and to ask him to play off ball will limit him and expose him even more to other team's defenses that will push or bump him around making that lineup a flaw when he is taken out of plays.

Rose was top tier and top3- 5 finisher at the rim last year.. (not bad for someone who has lost a step.. Considering you still have to get to the rim to finish there)

He also averaged his best shooting percentage from mid range since his map year I think at just under 50%

Dont know why people think that rose can't guard kyrie.. Well it works both ways

Rose has showed out and had some of his best performances head to head against kyrie ( that's since the injuries)

He also had 2 of his best games last year against It and Kemba..so for a guy who is a step slow Coz of injuries he sure doing good keeping up with some of the fastest in the game

Rose is coming off the bench so he will have less wear and tear. Between Shump, Smith, Korver, and even Crowder they don't really need Rose to play out of position.

Mook isn't that good of a rebounder, he's a tweener who is a better 3 than 4. He'll be an improvement of over Olnyk and Amir, but it won't be through rebounding.

Important numbers for IT would be catch and shoot and this is where Irving is better:

However, IT was the better more efficient scorer and he made more free throws than Irving took last year, despite only play 4 more games.

Furthermore, Korver's 3P% went from .409 to.485 after being traded to the Cavs and LeBron's ability to get teammates better shots is well documented. On ball, LeBron and Irving took turns on offense and there's no reason to believe LeBron and IT won't. Him being worse in ISO may give Love more touches via pick and roll/pop, which would be better for the team anyway.

IT's biggest concern is his hip, but it's not like Irving has a clean bill of health himself...

So whatever the record turns out to be Boston should want to avoid the Cavs until the ECF at earliest

Rose is not a good shooter, so you cut off his drive to the lane and force him to shoot. He does not possess the same speed or quickness after those knee injuries. Thomas is not going to be the primary ball handler in the lineup playing with Lebron and Rose, so you can push him around because of his size to make him feel uncomfortable when trying to get open playing off ball. Love would be a problem with his marksmen shooting, but he will give up what he gives back. Crowder is a streaker 3 point shooter who can't create on his own. Lebron is the only guy that will be able to get his, but limiting the other guys will put pressure on him to perform because of the lack of three point shooting in this lineup. Hopefully Brad Stevens could see these issues and exploit them. He knows I.T's and Crowder's weaknesses.
