Kyrie is getting traded either way, if this deal reverses he will be moved to another team like the bucks. Celtics will have to trade IT who will have no value on market if he really does have bad hips
Bucks if smart would lowball the cavs too. Every team should if they were smart.

Nah . Thompson is inconsistent at best, and Kevin Love is nonexistent :lolbron:

Isaiah thomas is part of the reason the Celtics bigs aren't as effective. Do you know how much a non-defensive player effects a team. For instance when Rondo (when he was on the Celtics) used to do that jackass shyt by leaving his man to attempt a steal, it would break down the Boston defense and make the other team score. Just like now. The constant over-switching to hide Isaiah's lack of defense limits Celtics bigs to get defensive rebounds. You can even say the amount of pick and rolls they have to run for him just to get him open ruins a chance to get offensive rebounds

Al Horford had 10 rebounds in Game 3 when Isaiah didn't play :wow:

love and tristan stay owning horford. Hortgord got dominated by Trista when he was on the 60 win hawks team also:russ:

Take this from a lakers fan, IT and Crowder are petty as hell.. they will not be happy coming back. Odom and gasoline were both out of it once the trade was vetoed. Celtics will have to move both and won't get a Kyrie type in return. Cavs have other teams available for Kyrie where the players they are getting in return can compete right away with Lebron

And just like the Celtics won't get a Kyrie like return from another team, the Cavs aren't getting something as valuable as the Nets pick for him. Kyrie would've been traded a month ago if that was the case :manny:

If the injury is that bad, they are just forcing the Celtics hand. With I.T for the majority of the season they may not make the playoffs.

This whole thing has hurt IT2's pockets so bad :wow:

Especially when it seems like the Cavs are doing this out of spite. They're purposely leaking he's more hurt than he let on so it's dropping his free agent value just on the off chance they can get an additional pick. Kyrie's value drops because other teams know they can't keep him in Cleveland now. Cleveland seems dumb as fukk for leaking this to Woj on multiple levels.

This is what I don't get. Isaiah was injured all the way back in May. You're saying Celtics halted surgery for Isaiah to get Kyrie when Kyrie was still in the playoffs in June and said he wanted out in July

Doesn't make sense

Recent news on Isaiah Thomas - Cleveland Cavaliers - Rotoworld.com You gotta read all the player news. I'll post a few key points .

President Danny Ainge said that Isaiah Thomas (hip) is doing "much better" in his rehab from his hip injury.

Ainge said it's still possible Thomas could need surgery. The GM believes he'll have further imaging done on Thomas in mid-to-late July, and then they'll figure out the next step in the treatment process. Thomas is expected to be ready for camp, but Ainge did say the team is "hoping" IT will be ready to roll.

Isaiah Thomas (hip) still hasn't had his appointment to determine if he needs surgery.

Based on the reports over the last two months, Thomas is unlikely to need surgery on his hip. On Friday, coach Brad Stevens said Thomas is feeling better, which isn't much of an update. Usually, players opt to have surgery earlier in the offseason to help them get to rehab sooner, so hopefully IT will be ready in October.

Danny Ainge confirmed on Wednesday that Isaiah Thomas will not require hip surgery this offseason.

"Isaiah is making good progress," Ainge said. "He’s out on the court; he’s shooting. He’s full-speed ahead on the stationary bike and working in the swimming pool. He’s progressing nicely." Thomas was forced out of the playoffs after severely aggravating his rip hip injury during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but he's been evaluated by multiple hip specialist since and it sounds like he'll be fine after some rest and relaxation. Thomas probably won't be a first-round talent next season with Gordon Hayward now in Boston, but he should still be able to flirt with top-25 value.

So you get hurt in May. You wait 2 months to make an appointment to determine if you need surgery. Not sure if that's Isaiah's fault because he wanted to try to rehab on his own and avoid surgery to get a max deal. Or Boston for not pushing him to make the appointment. All of a sudden Kyrie requests a trade July 21st. Now July 26th, OH IT doesn't need surgery. He looks great, riding the bike, shooting on the court. Up here building his value up.
