:dahelldidyousay: nikka, there's a reason Cleveland is trying to salvage a trade with Boston instead of turning to Suns or whoever else to trade Kyrie. Again, the Celtics offer is as good as it gets for the Cavs. If you don't want to accept that, that's on you.

And the fukk you mean "you can't treat people like this and expect it to be okay"? :jaecrowder: Boston didn't mistreat anybody with this trade offer; Ainge gave more than enough value for Kyrie by offering IT (who everybody knew was injured), Crowder, Zizic and the Nets pick. Boston didn't do anything but offer a generous trade package to the Cavs.

You don't have a clue.

Don't worry, 3 days ago Celtics "Got robbed" and "was one hell of a lopsided trade", now all of a sudden it's Boston that's robbing the Celtics. It's their agenda and their sticking to it :mjlol:

what's funny ?

They got blindsided with a trade demand by Kyrie in the middle of July. Didn't panic, just waited it out, entertained all their options, let it marinate, and then struck a deal.

The haul they got from Boston is pretty fascinating considering the circumstances, I give them tons of credit for that. That's why like i said, I don't think they're gonna back out. But if they do, good offers are still out there.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones never made at all. And in lieu of this medical fiasco lies a 2nd chance for Cleveland and Kyrie. The Kyrie/Lebron dynamic is very similar to the Kobe/Shaq dynamic where little brother is ready to start taking on more responsibility and big brother should start relinquishing some but his ego won't allow him to be anything less.

Like Kobe was before him Kyrie is a transcendent talent who is homegrown by the organization, they should have exhausted every possible angle trying to mend the situation before agreeing to trade him. The Lakers didnt buck when Kobe asked them for one. And Shaq and Kobe's situation was far more contentious. Not to mention...Kyrie isnt just some regular allstar player, dude has a legacy in Cleveland and is probably the 2nd greatest player in the team's history. And in the case of a cursed, forlorn organization like Cleveland he should damn near have a statue.

I still dont see how it was a matter of "just having his own team" when his current team contains every single component that an elite point guard dreams of. If i were the Cavs i would revisit trying to mend the fences seeing as there could be a chance that he ends up having to report back anyway

If the Cavs don't make this trade happen with the Cs, they're fukked. They would've had then lost the Nets pick that could've been very valuable to them. And they'd still have to get rid of Kyrie. No team will offer the Cavs anywhere near as decent a package as the Cs current offer. The Bucks won't. Neither will the Suns. Nor any other team.

Again, there's a reason the Cavs are trying to keep this trade deal alive with the Cs instead of trying to get those "good offers" that are supposedly out there.

Boston trade is only good if Isaiah is healthy, if his hip is bad, mostly likely re-injured and end up needing season ending surgery. He would be pointless to the Cavs. Dan Gilbert not about to resign or max him out so he'll just be a rental. This trade was made that they can pieces for Lebron now and a piece for later.

Now the trade is just Jae Crowder and the Nets pick which is not good because everybody keep talking about how the Nets improved and won't be one of the 5 worst teams no more. That would mean they traded Kyrie for Jae Crowder and a late first round lottery pick. That trade is :trash:the Cavs probably can do better. If Boston don't Up the offer just veto it and wait for better offers. The offers will get better after December when the new free agents just be traded or around the trade deadline in February when teams really hungry.:sas1:

Kyrie ain't no damn transcendent talent breh, and that Kobe/Shaq comparison is an insult to Kobe.

How is the Kobe/Shaq comparison an insult? I see a lot of similarities.

And im not saying Kyrie is better than Kobe or anything. But its pretty obvious that dude is one of the most talented players to come into the league in the past 20 years. I guess the word "transcendent" triggers only all time greats. But Kyrie can get there one day....but his ability and skills that he's displayed over 6yr career has been transcendent.
